By creating an account, browsing, saving, or sharing content on Shelf, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Shelf may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Shelf is a recommendations and link-saving app for people and small communities. It lets users save links, notes, tags, recipes, and other references; join or create communities; follow people; and browse shared items.

Shelf may enrich saved links with metadata, summaries, tags, recipe ingredients, instructions, thumbnails, or previews. These enhancements are provided for convenience and may not always be complete or accurate.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login information secure. Use accurate account information and do not impersonate another person or organization.

Shelf may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, violate these terms, or create legal, security, or safety risks.

You keep ownership of content you submit, including notes, saved links, profile information, community posts, and recipe edits. By submitting content, you give Shelf permission to host, display, process, and share it as needed to operate the service.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, harassing, invasive of privacy, infringing, spammy, or otherwise inappropriate for a small community product.

Shelf does not allow adult or 18+ material. This includes pornography, explicit sexual content, nude or sexual imagery, erotic content, adult services, and links whose primary purpose is adult-only content.

Shelf supports public and private visibility settings. Public items, profiles, and communities may be visible to other users and visitors. Private or community-limited content should still be shared thoughtfully because other members may see it.

Community owners and members are responsible for the content and invitations they create. Shelf may remove communities or content that violate these terms.

Shelf includes links to websites and services that Shelf does not control. Shelf is not responsible for outside content, availability, security, policies, or purchases made through third-party websites.

When you open an external link, the third party may collect information according to its own policies.

Content on Shelf may include recommendations, recipes, articles, books, podcasts, products, and community opinions. Shelf does not provide medical, legal, financial, nutritional, safety, or other professional advice.

Use your own judgment before relying on any recommendation, recipe, instruction, product, or outside source.

Shelf is provided as-is and may change, pause, or stop operating at any time. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed.

Shelf does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, preserved content, or perfect link rendering.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Shelf is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or third-party conduct.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
